We stayed in the Miraflores District which seemed pretty upmarket compared to the areas we saw on the way from the airport, lots of hotels, shops and restaurants as well as modern business buildings. Miraflores has it’s own big church and square plus some beautifully kept gardens in Parque John F Kennedy. This is inhabited by scores of very healthy looking cats. They are supported by a charity called Miao which offers the opportunity to sponsor a cat! The plants are nearly all familiar to us in UK like the antirrhinums in this bed.
Now some more scenes from Central Lima
